We
have a report here that CIMB Bank has frozen all leave for its
employees in Singapore for 5 days before and 5 days after GE13 in order
to prevent its Malaysian employees from returning to vote.
This
information was apparently reported by
one of CIMB's staff in Singapore. CIMB is headed by Nazir Razak, the
younger brother of Najib Razak.
If this report is true, then isn't CIMB
committing a direct offense under the Elections Act by preventing
Malaysian citizens from exercising their Constitutional right to vote?
