ABDUL RAHMAN DAHLAN
Abdul Rahman Dahlan has been described as "a bright star in the political arena" and considered as one of the most vocal BN MPs in Dewan Rakyat. The Sabahan politician is currently an Umno Member of the Parliament for the Kota Belud constituency in Sabah. He was elected to federal Parliament in the 2008 election for the Kota Belud seat after Umno dropped its incumbent member Mohd Salleh Tun Said.
Rahman was also the Pemuda Umno Chief of Tuaran Division and Deputy Chief of Pemuda Umno Sabah as well as the Secretary of Pemuda Umno Malaysia and BN Malaysia. He also served as Political Secretary to Sabah Chief Minister and currently serves as Sabah BN Secretary.
Presently Rahman is a member of Special Parliamentary Committee on Corruption, Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and Inter Parliamentary Union as well as Vice Chairman for Parliament's Barisan Nasional Backbencher Club (BNBBC).
