RM400 Duit Raya buat Kakitangan Awam di Pulau Pinang dari Pakatan Rakyat!
Posted byAnak Sungai DerhakaatWednesday, August 18, 2010Kerajaan Negeri Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang telah meluluskan geran kewangan istimewa (Special Financial Grant) bernilai RM400 kepada setiap kakitangan awam bagi menyambut Hari Raya Aidilfitri ini.
Menurut Ketua Menteri Lim Guan Eng geran tersebut akan diberikan kepada kesemua penjawat awam di Pulau Pinang yang berjumlah seramai 3577 orang dan melibatkan kos RM1.5 Juta.
Dan buat kakitangan awam yang merasakan agak keberatan mahu menerimanya kerana tidak mahu terasa memakan budi sila hubungi e-mail ini 'anaksungaiderhaka@gmail.com' untuk diberikan nombor akaun agar dapat disalurkan RM400 yang anda tidak mahu itu.
RM400 ini bukan rasuah.. tapi duit raya.. UMNO/BN dulu pernah ingat nak bagi ka?
Penang gives Raya cash for civil servants
GEORGE TOWN, Aug 18 — The Penang state government has approved a special financial grant of RM400 for all state civil servants to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said today the financial grant, to be given to all 3,577 civil servants in the state, would cost RM1.5 million.
"Since the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Government took office, strenuous efforts have been made to mould a professional civil service that is world class. After all Penang cannot transform itself into an international city unless our civil servants leads the way with international benchmarks," Lim told a press conference here.
He said despite discriminatory and reduced allocations from the federal government, the state's public service had improved.
"We have managed to turn around a projected budget deficit into a record surplus," he added.
Lim said it was only fair that the state's civil servants enjoyed international-scale pay to celebrate Penang's success.
He said the special payment showed that the state government valued the services of the state's civil service.
He was also hopeful that the civil service would be motivated to work harder to enhance the delivery system and to give better services.
Lim however said while the state government valued the hard work put in by the civil service, it would not hesitate to reprimand government officers who abused their powers and behaved like "Little Napoleons".
