Ngang Buling was arrested for defending his people Land & Rights.
Ngang Buling, Penan from Murum, was arrested by the Police during a Blockade at the Murum Dam on 3/10/13 at 10:30am.
There were around 300 protestors at the blockade site this morning. They all asked to be arrested showing solidarity to Ngang.
A police officer, named Sufian, fired a shot in the air to warn the people.
The Police later took Ngang to the Belaga Police Station, while 3 car-loads of the Protestors followed behind to give support to Ngang.
