Who has seen the so-called ‘Anwar Sex-Tape’? by jamal

I’m sure the issue on almost everyone’s lips these days would be the so-called sex tape released by one (or 3) Datuk T. Alright, in short, Datuk T released a sex tape for some 20 ‘privileged’ journalists at Carcosa Seri Negara and claimed that the person in the tape is a senior opposition leader and threatened to seek further action if the ‘leader’ and his wife do not resign from their positions.
It was revealed that Datuk T was actually former Melaka Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Tamby Chik, businessman Datuk Shazryl Eskay and Datuk Shuib Lazim of Malay rights group Perkasa. Anwar has since denied that the person in the video is him and that he was at a PKR gathering at the time of the event. There are a few very important issues to highlight here.
First of all, is shooting of pornographic material against the law? If you remembered, the case involving Ariel Peter Pan brought about quite a big buzz in Indonesia and he has since gone to jail. Maybe we have a different type of law here. The thing which is very peculiar here is that Rahim and Shazryl have both ADMITTED that they were behind the video, which means they are either the ‘actors’ or the ‘directors’.
Of course, Anwar’s claim that the whole ‘sex tape’ saga was masterminded by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, the Home Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and some Umno leaders which seemed very convenient and very much expected. So whether it is Umno or not, seriously it is quite immaterial here. The name of the game is deny, deny and deny.

So, what might transpire in the end? This is merely an act of revenge by Rahim who was then asked to resign when he had a ‘sex scandal’ back in the mid-90s by Anwar (when he was the deputy prime minister). Rahim claims to have a noble intention as he ‘wants the world to know that Anwar is not qualified to be prime minister’. Admitting to shooting a pornographic material, broadcasting pornographic material and possession of pornographic material (with proof of authenticity as they were in the video) are all considered crimes and there should be some sort of penalty somewhere. But at the moment Datuk Trio seemed to be walking tall and proud of their ‘achievements’. In fact, they seemed to be quite satisfied that they are ‘doing the country a favour’ here.
So, have you seen the video? Serious, if you haven’t, don’t bother. This is a complete waste of time.
