KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court ruled Thursday that it had no jurisdiction to hear former PKR deputy secretary-geneeral P. Jenapala's suit in relation to party's deputy president post.
The court dismissed his suit with costs.
Jenapala had wanted the court to declare that he was entitled to contest the position of deputy president.
Jenapala had sould a declaration that his disqualification was unlawful and contrary to his rights as a member.
He had also applied to get a declaration that the election held by PKR in respect of the deputy president post was null and void.
He also wanted a declaration that he was and was at all material times a member of PKR.
Jenapala had also asked for a declaration to restrain PKR from declaring any candidate in the elections as having been elected deputy president
