More autonomy for Sabah : PAKATAN RAKYAT WAS COMMITTED TO DEFENDING THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS




Gurkah politik di'port' yang sedang bercuti di Sabah telah meng-emailkan berita ini dari KK ..As the nation celebrates its 47th year, national leaders from the Pakatan Rakyat pledged on the eve of Malaysia Day to give political autonomy to Sabah if they came into power in the State.

Pakatan Rakyat leader Anwar Ibrahim, who led the pledge at the launch the Pakatan Rakyat State Secretariat here, said Sabah affairs would be determined by Sabahans.

The Pakatan, he said, was committed to defending their constitutional rights.

Joining him in the pledge were DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang and PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa.

Pakatan Rakyat want to have straight fights between candidates of Pakatan Rakyat alliance and those of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition in future elections.

Local leaders in the Sabah opposition have work together firmly after their failure to cooperate in the 2008 general election
